Personal Course of Study

Self

I must say that I am an overachiever when it comes to taking classes. I look to take classes every chance I get, even after my Act 48 hours are completed.  I constantly take classes to improve my teaching in some shape or form. I look for ideas to help better my students along with myself. I look for classes in assessment, content, motivation, behavior, and technology.

Why This Class

Technology is definitely an area of need for me.  I think most of my students can work the computer better than me. One thing that I have always wanted to incorporate into my classroom is a website that is maintained by the students. Now that I have learned about the wiki I can put this idea into action.

Future

I would have to say that I would enjoy more classes on technology, similar to this that would help me not only incorporate it into the classroom but give the students some ownership.
